A National Board Certified (NCCAOM) Licensed
Acupuncturist in practice for more than 15 years, I received a Masters
of Acupuncture Degree from Tai-Sophia (formerly known as The Traditional
Acupuncture Institute) in Laurel, Maryland, where I was a member of the
faculty for 12 years. My training included over 2000 hours of study in
the classroom, and over 500 hours of clinical practice under
supervision.
On December 1, 2009, I was appointed by the Governor of Maryland to
serve a 4-year term on the Maryland State Board of Acupuncture. The main
goal of the Board is to protect the Maryland public through the
licensure and regulation of acupuncturists
In my more than 30 years of acupuncture treatment, I have found that it
helps to keep me on track emotionally, physically and spiritually. I
rarely am sick, not even with the common cold. In the few instances when
I have required medical intervention or have not been up to par, I have
recovered more quickly and fully than before I was in treatment.
My clients have taken me on many and various journeys over the years and
I have observed transformations nothing short of miraculous. It has been
an honor and privilege to be part of their experience.
